Today, on July 26, 2024, Gage Mason (20, of Fresno) was sentenced to 29 years in state prison for various sexual assault charges against multiple children and a dog. Mason’s sentence was handed down by the Honorable Judge Gabriel Brickey of the Fresno County Superior Court after Mason pleaded guilty to all counts and all aggravating factors on June 5, 2024. In addition to his prison sentence, Mason will also have to register as a sex offender.
The Fresno County Sheriff’s Department began their investigation of Mason on April 5, 2023, following a report of sexual assault on multiple minors. On April 19, 2023, after conducting a thorough investigation, Mason was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail.
The Fresno County District Attorney’s Office would like to thank the Fresno County Sheriff’s Department for their investigative work and dedication to this case.
This case was successfully prosecuted by Senior Deputy District Attorney Justine Keel of our Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit. SDDA Keel was assisted by Senior District Attorney Investigator Janie Pulido with our office’s Bureau of Investigations.
